Dear Parents and Carers,
This term we have been learning about the topic ‘Me
and My Family.’ As a part of this unit
of work we are going to be making a class museum about our families. We are asking that each child bring in an
object (photo, ornament, etc… not too big!) to write about and display in our
class museum.
We are then opening up the prep room on Friday the 12th
of June, at 3.00pm as a ‘Special Visitors’ afternoon. Students are asked to invite a special friend
i.e grandparent, aunty, uncle etc. to come in and walk through our museum.
There will also be a slideshow of photos from the
preps experiences of school so far.
Students can start bringing in objects as of tomorrow,
we require items by Monday 1st
of June at the very latest. We
request that they come in a plastic bag with their name clearly marked on
it. We will store them in a safe place
until they are required.

I loved your museum - what a great idea! Cannot believe it is only half way through the year and the writing the Preps are doing. Loved reading about your artefacts and learning about you - great work!
