Me and My Family Events

Dear Parents and Carers,

This term we have been learning about the topic ‘Me and My Family.’  As a part of this unit of work we are going to be making a class museum about our families.  We are asking that each child bring in an object (photo, ornament, etc… not too big!) to write about and display in our class museum.

We are then opening up the prep room on Thursday the 19^th of June, at 2.45pm as a ‘Special Visitors’ day.  Students are asked to invite a special friend i.e grandparent, aunty, uncle etc. to come in and walk through our museum.

Tea and coffee will be provided, as well as a slideshow of photos from the preps experiences of school so far.

Students can start bringing in objects from Tuesday 10^th, all objects need to be at school by Friday 13^th so we can begin our writing in the following week.  We request that they come in a plastic bag with their name clearly marked on it.  We will store them in a safe place until they are required.  Please RSVP by Monday 16^th May.  Due to large number in the prep area, students can only have 2 visitors i.e. one parent and one grandparent.
