Moreland Primary Preps 2016

Hooray! Our blog is back up and running for 2016.

The Preps have been at school for 3 days now and are settling in very well.

Please ensure that you subscribe to our blog, as information about upcoming events, as well as photos of the Preps will be shared here. Please feel free to comment on our posts, we would love to hear from you!

Below are some photos of the Preps during Developmental Play, which occurs every day in Prep. It is a time for students to get to know each other, their teachers and classroom, to develop communication skills, consolidate their learning, practice behavioural norms (like sharing, turn taking) and school rules (such as looking after our things, being kind, listening to the teachers and moving safely around the room).

Week 10 & 11

As the year draws to a close, the Preps will begin to bring items home from school.

This week, the Preps will be taking home their maths books and next week their literacy books. Other items such as artwork will begin coming home as well, so please check your child's tub regularly to avoid items building up.

All reader and library bags will be collected next week. They will be sent up to the Grade 1 & 2 room, ready for the new year. Please ensure that your child still participates in reading books over the holidays.

If your child still has library books at home, can they please be brought back to school as soon as possible. All book are now overdue.

Thank you for your assistance,

The Prep Team
